Education:

1985.7 Bachelor of Engineering, Department of civil engineering, Central South University (Changsha Railway Institute)

1985-1988 Master of Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University. Teaching at Southwest Jiaotong University since 1988.

1991-1998 PhD of Bridge, Tunnel and Structural Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University.

 

Professional Experience:

1990-1994, Lecturer, School of Civil Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University.

1994-2002, Associate Professor, School of Civil Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University.

2002-present, Professor, School of Civil Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University. And Employed as PhD supervisor since 2002.

Director of Structural Engineering Laboratory,Vice Dean of Building Survey and Design Institute of Southwest Jiaotong University.

 

Professional Society:

Prof. Pu Qianhui has engaged in teaching and research in the context of concrete bridge and structural engineering. He has conducted and participated in more than 100 research projects (including ongoing projects) and was rewarded by Third Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and Second Prize of Railway Science Technology Development Award. He has published over more than 60 papers in core journals. He has participated in writing of 1 teaching material and 1 book and served as a reviewer of 1 monograph. He was awarded by Hongyu Outstanding Teacher Award in 1995 and Lu Award for Young Teachers in 1996, and was selected as the Top-notch Talent of the Young technology of Southwest Jiaotong University. So far, he has supervised more than 20 PhD candidates and 50 master students.
